The ICT Solution Architect CRM/Cloud will take up the advisory role towards the Business Domain Architects for Sales/Service and the Enterprise Solution Architect , taking the technical responsibility in significant projects and programs associated with the extension on the one platform enhancements

In this role he/she will on the one hand lead software solution introduction/change initiatives in the Customer Relationship domains (uncluding emerging cloud challenges) end-to-end and will create matching SLA’s between the different involved parties resulting in the appropriate (business) solution models for the company. On the other hand he/she will lead architectural reviews and ensure correct up-to-date application architecture artefacts and blueprints guided by architectural drivers such as business/functional requirements and (long term) quality features.

He/she will carry end-to-end responsibility for definition, approval and correction of technical designs related to application integration projects in the CRM/cloud domains and in that way act as trusted advisor towards the other architects and delivery teams.

He/she will keep a watchfull eye on technological and methodological evolutions in the market and introduce these evolutions at the right time within the company in tight cooperation with the Cluster Leads and Business Domain Architects. In that context the Solution architect will also prepare and organize proof of concepts for deliverables of solution providers and guard the integration in our existing application landscape.

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the solution application landscape and translates business requirements created by the Business Analysts and Business Process Experts and funneled via the Cluster Leads and Business Domain Architects into the right (technical) solution architecture.
  • Provide expert technical advice on the establishment and maintenance of a robust and scalable ICT application architecture to ensure continuous support to deploy ICT strategies, products and enhancements in the near future
  • Provide professional, timely and effective solution design and application implementations including expert technical advice on complex matters relating One Platform applications (main core on SAP)
  • Analyze and provide hands-on software improvements for selected key business systems components and acts as internal and external point of contact for technical issues and questions
  • Establish and optimize an agile and efficient process and arrangements for post go-live software systems maintenance and support + align/monitor with enterprise architecture on a timely update of our application landscape components
  • Collaborate with Cluster Leads and Business Domain Architects in providing consensus-based IT solutions that are scalable and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Support delivery of projects, releases and changes throughout the delivery of the various demands to make sure the accepted (business) demands are delivered conform with the original approved (business) requirements
  • Balance the different solutions and ensure that the solution architecture aligns with the roadmaps established by the enterprise architect in adherence to the enterprise architecture principles.
  • Act as the bridge between the Cluster Leads, Business Domain Architects and the Solution Architects and contribute in creating an solution landscape which guarantees long term process and solution sustainability in a structured way.

 

  • Master degree in computer science, applied economics and/or (civil) engineering, informatics or equivalent combination of education and working experience.
  • Deep (domain) knowledge of CRM and cloud systems/platforms and implementations. Demonstrating real hands-on experience working on related technologies with customers in those markets.
  • 8 to 10 years hands-on background on systems implementation and business & technology analysis, experienced developing and analyzing (business) solution architecture.
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts.
  • Proven track record of 5 – 10 years (hands-on) experience in SAP ERP/CRM and experience in (project) implementations related to SaaS, Quote-to-Cash, CRM or ERP and roll-outs in a similar multinational business.
  • Awareness of web, database, and object oriented software technologies and new trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in both legacy corporate solution architecture approaches as well as experience pivoting to cloud approach à Profound understanding of cloud computing technologies, cloud analytics, business drivers, and emerging computing trends is considered as an additonal asset.
  • Very strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, design patterns and software development compared with a good understanding of Sales and Services Solution market (trends, competitors, emerging technologies).
  • Very good knowledge and (SAP) technical expertise to drive common architectures across multiple projects by using influincing skills to achieve objectives using methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Growing or good understanding of Project Management methodologies and principles (e.g. Prince2 or PMBOK).
  • Good knowledge of the SAP ERP modules in the respective domains environment and develop understanding of functionality in other applications in the domain.
  • Understand business processes across the whole domain and related systems engineering concepts.
  • Very good verbal and written communication including technical writing skills.
  • Very good understanding of business processes in the respective domain(s).
  • Strong (demonstrated) business systems analysis, process and data analysis skills (including modelling techniques and methods).
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong abstraction, organization and simplification skills.
  • Diplomatic & influential and work cooperative with other individuals & cross multiple business units.
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with different levels in the organization.
  • Have exposure to working in a multi-cultural environment.
